Local Charities

Mango Spice is active in the local community and, from time to time, is pleased to support local charities and community activities.

An example of support we have given is shown below.

On Sunday 18th July local cyclists Andrew Porter, Iain Aiken, Andrew Brammer, Jon Cotterill, Rob Kittler, Jim Wharton and Daniel Littley set out to cycle the width of the country on the route known as the "Side to Side". It is the 400 mile route from St Davids in Pembrokeshire to Lowestoft in Suffolk.

The team would be grateful for any further sponsorship.

The cyclists created a daily diary.

Before they set off, Daniel Littley one of the cyclists said "This is a great trip for a great charity, hopefully the weather will stay nice for the week we are doing it and we can raise a lot of money for an excellent cause".

Mango Spice sponsored the team which uses the restaurant for its meetings and as its unofficial headquarters.

The team has previously cycled Lands End to John O'Groats as well as Coast to Coast. The trip is wholly organised and paid for by the team of friends, and they are raising money for the locally based cancer support centre.
